Controversies on the Ban on Word-Internal Switches: Examples from Turkish-German Code-Switching

Code- Switching Data enables us to attest for Grammatical Theory in constructions that would stay opaque in a monolingual environment. Some switches seem to be prohibited, motivating the so called Ban on Word-Internal Switches.

I will present Data from Turkish-German Code- Switching, allowing for constructions with doubly marked plurals, switching within  vP and  VP.
